I was recently very impressed with my friend who quoted a piece from William Shakespeare!... It was so beautiful! Enchanting words of love, real passion... I guess I'm in a romantic and reflective mood today, so I started meditating on this subject. I asked myself some questions that I'm offering you now.
Were you a good student in school that read all the books teachers required? Do you read any books now? Do you remember any poems? Can you name any authors and their works?...
Do you think it's something you should know? Or is it just extra information that you don't really need to keep in your head? Do you think it's something that helps you to develop? Or you just like to get fast information from online?
It's definitely easier to just watch a movie or look through a magazine than spend several hours reading a book, especially in a language that's now difficult to understand for an average adult not to say anything about teenagers. Is there any value in literature for you or in our high speed technical era it's irrelevant and out-of-date?
